JOIN CHIPS PACIFIC NORTHWEST CHAPTER FOR AN INFORMATIVE PROGRAM ON PATENT ELIGIBILITY

HOSTED AND SPONSORED BY KNOBBE MARTENS

The Supreme Court’s 2014 ruling in Alice v. CLS Bank International and subsequent Federal Circuit decisions have altered the patent landscape. Having a comprehensive understanding of Alice and its progeny is a necessity for patent prosecutors and litigators. For prosecutors, it is equally important to understand the USPTO Guidelines that Patent Examiners will apply when analyzing pending claims. This event will provide an overview of significant Court rulings and trends since the Alice decision, and walk through real-life examples with practical tips for patent prosecutors in drafting and prosecuting applications.
