Suzanne Munck

Suzanne Munck is counsel in Davis Polk’s Litigation Department, practicing in the Antitrust and Competition Group in Washington DC. She is one of the nation’s leading authorities on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property law.

Suzanne was Chief Counsel for Intellectual Property of the Federal Trade Commission from 2011 through 2020 and Deputy Director of the FTC’s Office of Policy Planning from 2013 through 2020. While at the FTC, she led the revision of the Antitrust Guidelines for the Licensing of Intellectual Property in collaboration with the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. She also worked on a number of high-profile investigations and led several policy initiatives in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors.

Suzanne has testified before the U.S. Senate on behalf of the FTC. She received the FTC’s Paul Rand Dixon award and was a four-time recipient of the FTC’s Janet D. Steiger award.
