Amy Weaver, president and chief financial officer of Salesforce, will open the ChIPs Global Summit 2022, Thursday, October 27 in San Francisco. Weaver will be interviewed by Jennifer Yokoyama, ChIPs Board Member and Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Microsoft, at 9 a.m. PT.

The ChIPs Global Summit will be held at the Fairmont Hotel October 27-28 and will be preceded by the ChIPs NextGen Summit October 26.
A tech industry force
As the President and Chief Financial Advisor at Salesforce, Amy Weaver is responsible for leading Salesforce’s global finance organization, including Investor Relations, Internal Audit, Treasury, Legal, Tax, Real Estate, Technical Accounting, and Communications.
Weaver is an experienced public company leader with significant technology industry expertise and deep knowledge of Salesforce’s business and culture.
She previously served as President and Chief Legal Officer, playing an integral role in building the global legal and corporate affairs organizations and driving many of the company’s most important strategic and operational initiatives — from advancing Salesforce’s technology leadership and deepening customer and government relationships to executing complex financial transactions.
Prior to joining Salesforce in 2013, Weaver was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Univar Solutions Inc. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Expedia Inc., and practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and at Perkins Coie LLP.
Before entering private practice, she served as a legislative aide to a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and as a clerk on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Weaver currently serves on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity International, the board of trustees of Lehigh University, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
