ChIPs General Counsel Boot Camp: an Opportunity to Bet on Yourself
We talk a lot about self-care these days. A walk. A meditation app. An hour with no notifications. All of it matters, and all of it deserves a place in our lives.
But there’s another kind of self-care that doesn’t get talked about enough: betting on yourself.
That’s what ChIPs General Counsel Boot Camp is. It’s not just a professional development program. It’s an investment you make in your own future, on purpose, on your own behalf. Learning from top GCs and field experts, our Boot Camp members are equipped with a hands-on understanding of what the GC role actually looks like, and how to get there. The results speak for themselves.
Since the program launched in 2022, several of our graduates have gone on to general counsel or chief legal officer roles. To name a few:
- Rose Oskanian (Cohort 3): vice president, general counsel at Eurofins NSC US Inc.
- Laura Richardson (Cohort 3): general counsel roles at Neural and Agiloft
- Dana Dombrowski (Cohort 2): general counsel at United Alloy
- Erin Lothson (Cohort 1): general counsel at Andela, formerly general counsel of Dandy
- Ashley Rich (Cohort 1): general counsel at Incode (formerly GC at Ex Populus)
In addition, Miko Brown (Cohort 2) landed her dream job as Denver city attorney and Arlene Hornilla (Cohort 1) found her perfect job as Chief IP Counsel at Mozarc Medical. Several cohort members landed new roles or promotions during or upon completing the GC Boot Camp program. We continue to champion and support all of our Boot Camp members and graduates as they continue their journeys.
These are women who decided they were worth the time, the energy and the room in their own calendars. They showed up for themselves, and the outcomes followed.
As Kim Woodward, VP of legal and chief of staff at Okta and current cohort member put it: “The quality of the individuals both within the cohort itself and the people who are coming to help us have been really high caliber in ways I have not experienced in other programs.”
That caliber doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because every woman in that room made the same choice you’re being asked to make right now: to bet on herself.
Applications for the 2026 GC Boot Camp cohort are open through July 15.
Take the next step. Apply today.
