ChIPs Launching New Job Board: How We're Advancing Women

A few years back, we learned from a member that she had found a new job, but that ChIPs had been unable to help her find it. We didn’t have a resource for her. That feedback started a conversation: What do job seekers need from us?

This turned into a new initiative from ChIPs: a job board that hosts opportunities relevant to our members, and resources that prepare members for those opportunities. Our Talent Connector series is a response to the latter need; now, we’re getting ready to roll out the former in the beta-launch of our new career center.

This isn’t just a resource for members to find their perfect fit. It’s a resource for employers, too. Rather than relying on job boards hosted on social media sites and sifting through thousands of applicants, which happens all the time, this board lets employers find top talent quickly. Our members are some of the greatest attorneys in the world, and through a more narrowed prospective hire pool in ChIPs, employers can connect with potential hires faster than ever before.

Our mission is to advance women in tech, law and policy. This job board is a direct reflection of that mission. We’re operating in a rapidly evolving job market in the IP landscape. Hiring sprees and hiring freezes seem to move in quick succession, one to the other. Whichever side you’re on, we’re here to help.

Take advantage of this free resource. Join us September 15 for a walkthrough of the beta version of the job board. You’ll have the opportunity feedback for what you need, ask questions and. In the meantime, prepare your resume and polish your job postings. You’ll need them.

Warm regards,

Joan Toth
