ChIPs Honors Five Firms for Inclusion Excellence

ChIPs, the global organization of women in law, tech and policy, has named five firms to its Honor Roll for 2022.

Morgan Lewis and Nixon Peabody have been recognized for Excellence in Inclusion for All. The firms of Orrick, Perkins Coie, and WilmerHale have been recognized for Excellence in Gender Inclusion.

The ChIPs 2022 Honor Roll is based on the industry’s annual Inclusion Blueprint, a joint initiative between ChIPs and Diversity Lab. Unlike other industry surveys, the Inclusion Blueprint measures — and the ChIPs Honor Roll recognizes — the actions firms are taking to create fair and inclusive workplaces. The Inclusion Blueprint is the only tool in the legal profession that measures the E and the I in DEI. Learn more about the Inclusion Blueprint and Diversity Lab’s Inclusion Champions, who also stood out for their inclusive actions, here.

The firms will be honored at the ChIPs Global Summit, October 26-28 in San Francisco. Best practices from the firms will be outlined in a special report presented at the event. For sponsorship opportunities contact Bridget Johnson.

Join ChIPs and Diversity Lab to hear more about the Inclusion Blueprint Tuesday, August 9 at 12 pm PT, and next Thursday, August 11 at 9 am PT. The two-part webinar will be moderated by Gina Passarella, editor-in-chief of the American Lawyer, and will include leaders from Diversity Lab’s 2022 Practice Group Inclusion Champions, who will share how they are using their power as practice group leaders to drive change. See details and register here
