Anirma Gupta

Anirma Gupta is an accomplished business executive with broad experience in the technology industry. She has managed many challenging corporate, business and legal issues.

Ms. Gupta is currently General Counsel at Tanium Inc., a revolutionary cyber security and systems management software company.  She leads multiple initiatives to address a broad range of global legal and corporate issues as Tanium grows domestically and internationally. Previously, Ms. Gupta was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Intuit Inc. where she was responsible for legal matters involving intellectual property, marketing, technology and strategic transactions and partnerships, and regulated product offerings.

Prior to joining Intuit, Ms. Gupta worked at Sun Microsystems, where she was responsible for strategic patent portfolio development, counseling and managing third-party matters, and also worked at the IP firm, Sughrue Mion.

Ms. Gupta earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland. She also earned her JD from the Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude. While at Georgetown, Ms. Gupta served as Associate Editor for the Journal of Legal Ethics. The Recorder named her one of its Women Leaders in Tech Law for 2015. She was also recognized as Best Bay Area IP Lawyer by the San Francisco Business Times and the San Jose Business Journal.
