The Philadelphia Chapter launched in February 2019 with a reception and panel discussion entitled “Breaking the Mold,” which is to be held at Comcast Technology Center and will be sponsored by Baker & Hostetler LLP.  The Philadelphia membership is growing fast, drawing interest from around the region, which includes numerous Fortune 500 companies, over 300 startups, and over 100 degree-granting institutions.

Events held throughout the year are led by the Philadelphia Chapter’s Steering Committee, which includes women from Comcast Cable Communications, LLC; Hewlett Packard Enterprise; Teva Pharmaceuticals; Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.; Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP; University of Pennsylvania; Heraeus Incorporated; Draeger Medical Systems Inc.; Eagle Pharmaceuticals; Farnan LLP; Dechert LLP; and Baker & Hostetler LLP.

Philadelphia offers student affiliate memberships for law students across the city interested in technology, IP, corporate law and other related fields of study. Philadelphia invites these members to opportunities curated for them, including panels and networking events.
