Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates Speaks at the Summit

In a wide-ranging discussion on the final day of the 2017 ChIPs Global Summit, former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates talked about her path to becoming a lawyer, those fateful 10 days at the Acting Attorney General and her lack of desire — for now — to seek elected office. Just the question alone, from host Nina Easton, drew applause from the packed room at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C. At the conclusion of the fireside chat, Yates received a standing ovation. (Photo by Tracey Salazar)
