ChIPs NextGen Summit is back in person October 26 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco with a full-day program designed to advance ChIPs members early in their careers to “blaze their own trail.”
Retired U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Kathleen O’Malley will kick off the all-day event in an interview with Heather Burke, NextGen Committee co-chair and a partner at White & Case LLP.
The event will close with a conversation with Wei Chen, general counsel of Infoblox and founder of the Atticus Project, a nonprofit that harnesses the power of AI to accelerate contract review. She will be interviewed by NextGen Committee co-chair Melissa Samano Ruiz, associate at Steckler Wayne Cherry & Love PLLC.
A diverse group of general counsels, litigators and a federal judge will address breaking barriers. A second panel will explore building relationships between in-house and outside counsels. Workshops will focus on self-management and personal brand building. The NextGen Summit includes networking breakfast, luncheon and breaks, and concludes with a hosted reception.
