Pamela Councill

Pamela Councill is a partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group and a registered patent attorney. She focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling clients on other intellectual property matters.
Pamela represents clients in district court litigation and arbitrations involving a variety of intellectual property issues, including claims of patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, false advertising, and breach of contract involving intellectual property. She has experience with Section 337 litigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission, including enforcement activities, and has secured victories for both petitioners and patent owners in post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Pamela received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Pamela has also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (Engineer-in-Training) Exam. Pamela earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Tulane University
