  • The Power of Writing Your Own Story as an Individual to Connect and Lead

ChIPs Eastern Canada invites you to an engaging event to explore the power of writing your own story as an individual to connect and lead as a woman in the Canadian IP sector.

Join us on for a virtual meet-up as Eastern Canada Chapter Co-Chairs Daphne Lainson of Smart & Biggar and Beverley Moore of BLG host an interactive workshop led by committee member, Sheema Khan of Kinaxis, featuring a short presentation and facilitated break-out groups. Prior to the event, we encourage you to watch Sheema’s TEDxKanata talk from 2016, which was the inspiration for this event today: “Breaking Barriers – Write your own story.”

This event provides a great opportunity to connect with other members of ChIPs. We will begin with opening remarks by Sheema followed by small, moderated breakout groups with fellow attendees.  Everyone will rejoin the main group once afterwards to share highlights.
