Intersectionality in the Workplace|Presented by the ChIPs Orange County
Wednesday, September 14, 2022 12:00PM – 01:00PM PDT
When you walk into a room, what do others see? How do they interact with you based on their interpretation of what they see? What ‘identities’ do you present and how does that impact the way you see others and the way they see you? More importantly, how does this impact you socially and professionally? Intersectionality investigates how aspects of our social and political identities combine to create different aspects of privilege whether through advantage, disadvantage, or both.
