15.00 – 18.00 CEST
This hybrid event celebrates the launch of a new Dutch chapter of the ChIPs Network. It will be hosted at the Amsterdam offices of law firm Brinkhof in Amsterdam.
Futurologist and anthropologist Roanne van Voorst will give a keynote lecture about her research into different types of fear in extreme athletes. How do climbers who conquer mountain walls or buildings, or BASE jumpers who plunge into a valley with a small parachute or wingsuit, deal with fear and doubt? And what is an effective strategy for the fear that everyone experiences at different times in life?
Next we ask a panel of successful women about challenges they have faced, or may be in the middle of. What methods do they use to achieve their goals? Are there lessons for a new generation? Jacqueline Schaap, partner at Visser, Schaap en Krijger and upcoming (duo)dean in Amsterdam, Anouk Boon, corporate patent counsel & Head IP at Avantium, Marijn Kingma, partner at Höcker, Milica Antic, head of legal at Google Netherlands, Janneke Slöetjes, head of global public affairs at Vinted and Fatiya Munkaila, lawyer at Brinkhof.
