    Naomi Waltman

    Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel

    ViacomCBS Inc. 

    Naomi B. Waltman is Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at ViacomCBS Inc. She serves as the Company’s chief litigation counsel, overseeing litigation for ViacomCBS and its business units in a broad range of matters, and also oversees the Legal Department’s Intellectual Property and Content Protection teams. Earlier in her career, Naomi was an associate at Kaye Scholer LLP (now Arnold & Porter) in New York City and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Warren W. Eginton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Naomi is a well-recognized leader in the legal profession and is frequently honored by external legal and professional organizations. She has been recognized as a National Woman in Law (Technology, Media, and Telecom) by Corporate Counsel, a Leading Woman Lawyer by Crain’s New York Business, and a Woman of Influence by Best Lawyers Magazine. Naomi received a B.A. with Distinction from Stanford University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.

     

     

    Flora Feng

    Senior Legal Director

    Global Intellectual Property at PepsiCo, Inc. 

    Flora W. Feng is Senior Legal Director, Global Intellectual Property, at PepsiCo, Inc., based in Purchase, NY, supporting Global Beverages R&D, Life Sciences R&D, R&D contracts, and M&A. From March 2014 until July 2019, Flora was based in Bangkok, Thailand, as General Counsel for PepsiCo’s Asia Pacific businesses, encompassing Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Brunei, East Timor, and the Pacific Islands. Flora joined PepsiCo in March 2012 as Senior Counsel in Purchase, NY, supporting Global Beverages R&D, Corporate R&D, and Asia/Middle East/Africa R&D. Before joining PepsiCo, Flora was Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property, at Kraft Foods and at Praxair. Prior to going in-house, she was an associate at Mintz Levin (NY) and Fitzpatrick Cella Harper & Scinto (NY), and practiced all aspects of IP law for 10 years, including litigation, patent prosecution, M&A due diligence, licensing, and contracts. Flora holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and a S.B. in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Flora also sits on the board of Womankind, a non-profit organization in NYC that works with survivors of gender-based violence to rise above trauma and build a path to healing, bringing critical resources and deep cultural competency to help Asian communities find refuge, recovery, and renewal.

     

     

    Jeanne Lukasavage

    Associate General Counsel-Intellectual Property

    Becton, Dickinson & Company

    Jeanne P. Lukasavage is Associate General Counsel-Intellectual Property at Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) where she leads global intellectual property litigation and the trademark and copyright group and is a member of the extended leadership team.  Prior to her current role, Ms. Lukasavage was responsible for intellectual property strategy for the $4.0B Medication Delivery Solutions business unit.  In addition, she formed and led the Intellectual Property Operations function, transforming BD into a leader in the IP operations space, and spearheaded the development of an interactive intellectual property education program which has trained thousands of BD associates worldwide on the fundamentals of intellectual property.  In recognition of her contributions, impact and innovation, Ms. Lukasavage has received several business awards including the President’s Award for Excellence, the Office of Science, Medicine and Technology’s Award for Outstanding Achievement and the BD Women’s Hero Award, as well as the Henry Becton Volunteer Impact Award recognizing her volunteer work with the Valerie Fund in New Jersey.  Prior to joining BD, Ms. Lukasavage was an associate with Gibbons, DelDeo, Dolan, Griffinger and Vecchione in Newark, NJ and Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholz and Mentlink in Westfield, NJ.  Ms. Lukasavage earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of America and a JD from Seton Hall University, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

     

     

    Dana Lau

    Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel

    Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. 

    Dana Lau, Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel, leads the IP Portfolio Development team, a group of eight patent professionals in the Law Department at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc.  She performs strategic IP due diligence, supporting senior management, business development and scientific colleagues in evaluating opportunities for collaborations and acquisitions.  Dana also works closely with transactional, patent prosecution, litigation, business development, scientific, strategic alliance, operations, and other business groups on various licensing and strategic IP initiatives.  She has been at Regeneron for seven years.  Prior to joining Regeneron, Dana was a Litigation Associate at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto and a Scientific Advisor at Baker Botts LLP.  Dana holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, an A.B. in Biology from Barnard College, and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
