The 2023 Mock Markman Competition has expanded participation to attorneys with six years or less in practice.  The competition is organized by the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the SDIPLA, The San Diego Chapter of the FBA, and San Diego Chapter of ChiPS. Participants will be assigned into teams of two to brief and argue the construction of four claim terms before judges of the United States District Court. Individual awards will be made for outstanding oral argument. Registration is now extended to July 31, and Oral Argument is October 19, 2023. Participant and volunteer registration at SDIPLA link.
