    ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

    Victoria Heppell
    Victoria is the Director, Intellectual Property and the Privacy Officer (Pharma Division) at Hoffmann-La Roche Limited. Prior to joining Roche, Victoria worked in private practice, for 13 years, where she focused in the areas of patent prosecution and patent litigation support in the pharmaceutical sector. She lives in Toronto with her husband and two daughters.

    Elizabeth S. Dipchand
    Elizabeth is a Founder and Partner at Dipchand LLP. She practices intellectual property law and litigation, focusing on acquiring, managing, and enforcing intellectual property rights and intangible assets for clients that rely heavily on intellectual capital in their business.
    Elizabeth is also an active member of several professional associations and has the pleasure of serving as on the Board of Directors for the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and the Dalhousie Law Alumni Association.

    Nina Moritsugu
    Nina is the Senior Director, Deputy General Counsel at Workday, leading a team of Canadian and US lawyers who specialize in commercial technology transactions, while also co-chairing the legal and compliance department’s D&I council. Prior to joining Workday, Nina worked at Shopify, Marketwired, and Nasdaq. Nina started her legal career in litigation at a large law firm. She lives in Toronto with her husband and three sons.
