The ChIPs Hall of Fame award was established in 2013 to recognize the exceptional accomplishments of individuals who have contributed significantly to the areas of intellectual property, technology, law and policy and have shown a demonstrated commitment to the ChIPs mission.

2016 Hall of Fame Inductee: United States Chief Technology Officer Megan Smith

ChIPs is delighted that to announce that Megan Smith, United States Chief Technology Officer in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy was inducted into the ChIPs Hall of Fame on September 15, 2016. We continue to be inspired by Megan’s focus on how technology, data and innovation can advance the future of our nation along with her advocacy for women in STEM and focus on inclusion for people of all backgrounds.
